" This photograph of Mills' Island was made while I was returning mid-morning from duck hunting in Johnson's Bay. The water was slick and the sky was a brilliant blue. The color of the water mirrored the sky and made for a seamless transition. The island provided a sense of separation in the form of a thin horizon line."
