" The marshland of Maryland has many mosquito ditches dug into it. Digging
these ditches was done to help control the mosquito population
by allowing water
to flow into and out of the marsh cutting down on surface water.
These ditches
provide a home for many creatures from small crabs, to minnows
and even
waterfowl. I thought the color
of the sky provided a nice contrast of color
against the marsh grass.
Many people see different things in the shape
of the ditch. What do you
see?"
